Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith was an indoor launched coaster on Sunset Boulevard that catapulted riders from 0 to 57 mph in under three seconds inside a fleet of stretch-limo-style vehicles, then carried them through three inversions in the dark, all synchronized to blasting Aerosmith tracks. The queue was themed as a Los Angeles recording studio, complete with a pre-show setting up the in-story premise that Aerosmith needed guests to make it to their concert on time.
