Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
Disney's Hollywood Studios · Sunset Boulevard
Overview
This launched to top speed in under three seconds as an Aerosmith-themed coaster back in 1999, and the ride system, layout, and top speed haven't changed since — only the theming has, swapped over to The Muppets' Electric Mayhem band in a later retheme that kept the physical intensity intact while changing the tone going in. The corkscrews and loops happen in complete darkness, which is doing a lot of the work: riders can't anticipate the inversions, only feel them.
ParksLog Verdict
Not a ride for anyone with inversion concerns or headrest sensitivity — skip it outright if that's you. Everyone else should make it an early priority; the launch is one of the most aggressive acceleration moments in the park, and the Muppets pre-show is a fun tonal mismatch against the intensity that follows. Single rider line usually beats the wait by a wide margin.
