Privacy policy
This page describes how ParksLog handles information when you use the website. It is meant to be readable; it is not legal advice.
Who we are
ParksLog is an independent project. For questions about this policy or your data, use the contact email on our Contact page.
Data stored on your device
Your visits, ride checklists, labels, and preferences (language, theme, units) are saved on your device in your browser. They are not sent to our servers and we do not operate user accounts.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic (for example which pages are viewed). See Google’s privacy documentation for how they process data.
Advertising
We may show third-party ads to help cover hosting costs. Ad partners may use cookies, identifiers, or similar technologies under their own policies. We do not sell your personal visit notes; those stay in your browser.
Cookies and similar technologies
Alongside data saved on your device so the app can work, analytics and advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.
Your choices
You can clear site data in your browser to remove stored visits and settings. If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or other regions with privacy laws, you may have additional rights regarding personal data; contact us if you have a request we can help with.
