Delta Dreamflight carried guests through a series of animatronic and audiovisual vignettes tracing the history of powered flight, from the Wright Brothers through the jet age and into a speculative future of air travel, aboard an Omnimover-style ride system in Tomorrowland, sponsored by Delta Air Lines.

Delta Dreamflight was solidly middle-of-the-road as Disney dark rides go — pleasant, educational, and quickly forgotten once Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin took over its building in 1998. It's most interesting today as a snapshot of how routinely airlines once sponsored major Tomorrowland attractions, a practice that's essentially disappeared from the modern park.

History
Delta Dreamflight opened in 1989 in the same Tomorrowland show building that had housed If You Had Wings, taking over after Delta Air Lines absorbed many of Eastern Air Lines' former routes. It closed in 1996 as the space was converted into Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.
