Overview
Pixar Pal-A-Round is the giant Ferris wheel anchoring Pixar Pier's waterfront skyline, visible from much of the park. Guests choose between a stationary gondola for calm, panoramic views or a sliding gondola on the inner track, which swings and shifts along a curved rail as the wheel turns — a genuinely different sensation from a standard Ferris wheel. Views stretch across the park and, on clear days, toward the surrounding hills.

History
The wheel opened in 2001 as Mickey's Fun Wheel, part of DCA's original Paradise Pier lineup, and was rebranded Pixar Pal-A-Round in 2018 when that section of the park became Pixar Pier. The sliding and stationary gondola mechanics have remained the same throughout.
