This is an adaptation of the Frozen Ever After that opened at EPCOT in 2016, itself built on the site of Norway's old Maelstrom ride — the Paris version arrived on March 29, 2026 with its own adjustments but the same core structure: a boat ride through Arendelle with a brief backward ascent and mild splash near the end. World of Frozen around it was one of the largest single expansions in the park's history, and the ice palace sequence near the finale is the production's clearest high point.
