TRANSFORMERS™ The Ride-3D

Universal Studios Florida · New York

Overview

Orlando got the third version of this ride worldwide — Singapore opened one in 2011, Hollywood in 2012, and this installation followed in June 2013, all built on Universal Creative's same tracked-vehicle-with-moving-screens system also used for The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man at Islands of Adventure. The Evac vehicle guests ride inside was created specifically for the attraction and doesn't appear in any of the actual Transformers films, carrying guests through an AllSpark battle between Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and the Decepticons.

ParksLog Verdict

Not as technically impressive as Gringotts or the Ministry of Magic, but a strong ride on its own terms — Optimus Prime's presence gives it real franchise weight. Single rider is the efficient choice since the experience doesn't change based on group size. Transformers fans should treat it as unmissable; everyone else should prioritize it over Fast & Furious specifically.

About this experience

Megatron and his villainous Decepticons want to rule Earth. Board your N*E*S*T* vehicle and join Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in an ultra-immersive thrill ride that blurs the line between fiction and reality. Fight to keep the AllSpark out of Megatron's hands in an explosive battle between the Autobots and Decepticons.
