About this park

Universal's newest Orlando gate is built around a central Celestial Park hub, from which guests step through portals into uniquely themed lands. Each world — Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic — features advanced ride technology, interactive experiences, and cinematic storytelling. A full day is highly recommended to explore everything the park has to offer.

Fun facts

Epic Universe is located on a separate campus from the existing Universal Orlando parks, roughly 10 minutes south by car.
The park was announced in 2019 for a 2023 opening; the COVID-19 pandemic pushed it back to May 2025.
Monsters Unchained in Dark Universe carries riders on robotic arms mounted to a moving track, past large Audio-Animatronics of Universal's classic monsters.
Super Nintendo World features interactive wearable Power-Up Bands that let guests collect coins, compete in challenges, and track scores throughout the land.
The park's first nighttime spectacular, Universal Celestial Goodnight, debuted in Celestial Park on July 7, 2026, more than a year after opening.
