The show opened on January 7, 2015, in the former Muppet*Vision 3D theater, to meet surging demand for Frozen content. It closed on April 17, 2016, shortly before the more elaborate full stage musical Frozen — Live at the Hyperion opened in the larger Hyperion Theater nearby. Mickey's PhilharMagic took over its theater in 2019.
