Overview
The queue for Fast & Furious – Supercharged was lined with cars styled after the films, but the 3D chase sequence itself never quite lived up to it once the tram started moving. It opened in 2018 in the space Disaster! A Major Motion Picture Ride had occupied since the park's 1990 opening under several different names, and the San Francisco streetscape surrounding it remained one of the more elaborately built outdoor sets at the park until the ride's closure.

The prop queue was legitimately worth exploring slowly; the ride itself was the weakest major screen-based experience at the park and didn't reward a long wait. It closed permanently in August 2026 after an eight-year run, with Universal not yet announcing what — if anything — will replace it in the San Francisco show building.

Fast & Furious – Supercharged opened at Universal Studios Florida in 2018, replacing Disaster! A Major Motion Picture Ride… Starring You!, which had occupied the San Francisco area since 1990 under various names as one of the park's original founding attractions. It permanently closed on August 17, 2026 after an eight-year run, with no replacement announced.
