A lagoon-view dining reservation solves the positioning problem entirely. Imperfect but genuinely moving when conditions are right.

Details
History
Luminous opened on December 5, 2023, replacing Harmonious, which ran from 2021 to 2023. Harmonious itself had replaced the long-running IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, which ran from 1999 to 2019 and is widely considered one of Disney's all-time greatest nighttime spectaculars. The large floating barges that defined Harmonious's look — and were criticized for obstructing daytime lagoon views — were removed for Luminous.
